Dr. Ansab Khwaja is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacements. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and completed his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Washington, where he earned the “Outstanding First Year Sports Medicine Intern” award and another one for community service. He attended the University of Arizona for his orthopaedic surgery residency where he earned the coveted Department Chair Award, and published multiple academic papers, posters, and book chapters, earning the resident research award.
He completed his fellowship in hip and knee replacement at Yale University gaining experience in the direct anterior hip approach, a minimally invasive technique for hip replacement.
